At Home Plate with COVID-19

I only wish I could put into words what these first days of quarantine have been for our family. As someone with a parent in the health field, the seriousness of these weeks is not lost on me. We are praying fervently for the many who are working diligently to quickly put to rest this illness and the chaos it brought with it. But as a family with a crazy schedule year round, this has brought forth such beautiful opportunities for us to not just seek rest, but find it. Convos being had that we usually wouldn’t make time for. No time constraints on the important things. Dancing. Laughing. Meals at a table. All together. We try our best through the busy seasons. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love this time of being able to take a deep breath and be still with my family. If anything, I will remember this time for what it is, and also for how our Father is going to use it to better my heart. #athomeplate #lifewithaginn #raisingboys #ginnquarantine2020 #therealmccoy #murphybaxter #milojack #hesagoodfather

Hillary Ginn and her husband, Wes, have been married for 15 years. He is in his 18th year of coaching and is the defensive coordinator for football and head baseball coach at Saks High School, in Anniston, AL. They have four boys, McCoy, Murphy, Milo Jack, and Torrance. Hillary is currently enjoying some time as a stay-at-home mom, leading worship at their church, and most recently stepped into the Kid’s Ministry Director position at their church. She loves doing life with other coaches’ wives and the opportunity it provides to “minister” to the lives of players on and off the field.
